This is a plain informational website. We don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies here. If you use the contact form once it's live, we'll only use what you send to reply to you — nothing else, ever.

Donations are handled entirely by GoFundMe on their own site, under GoFundMe's privacy policy.

HFR Charity Publisher (TikTok integration)

HFR Charity Publisher ("the App") is the publishing integration for Hands at the Furthest Reach, a charitable project documenting direct aid — food, clean water, shelter, and supplies — delivered to children, families, and people in remote communities. The App posts the charity's own videos to the charity's official TikTok account (@handsatthefurthestreach) so supporters can see where donations go.

Data we collect

• TikTok account identifiers: the authorized account's open ID, username, and display nickname — needed to publish to the correct account and to display the creator's identity before posting, as TikTok requires.
• OAuth tokens: a TikTok access token (~24-hour lifetime) and refresh token (~1-year lifetime) for the video.publish scope. These are the only credentials the App stores.

We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, locations, followers, or any other personal data. We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers.

How we use data

Tokens are used solely to authenticate TikTok Content Posting API calls that publish videos the charity team has prepared, to the charity's own TikTok account. No other use is made of the data.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. The only data transmitted externally is sent to TikTok's official API endpoints (open.tiktokapis.com) as required to publish content.

Data storage & security

Tokens are stored server-side with restricted file permissions and are never embedded in client-side code, logs, or public files.

Data retention & deletion

Tokens are kept until access is revoked. You may revoke the App's access at any time in TikTok's Settings → Security → Manage app permissions; revocation immediately stops all posting ability, and we delete stored tokens on request.

Children

The App is operated by the charity team and is not directed at children. No children's data is knowingly collected.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised date.
